I have to admit that I was pretty skeptical about this whole Wii thing, but it turns out that it's pretty darn cool. I'm addicted to pool and golf, DH is addicted to tennis, and coolest off all, I'm typing this blogpost from the Wii. It comes with the capability of surfing the 'net through Opera, which is pretty darn cool.
This is taking a long time to type, so I'll just end this post abruptly. Wii is cool!

I just can't get my mind around using the Wii and Playstations and XBoxes to surf the Net and play movies and whatnot... I think my instinctual response to them is "Isn't this just a glorified Atari 2600?"
Dude, I'm surfing rihgt now and it is either the coolest thing ever or Fahrenheit 451 come to life in a way - much scarier way - than Bradbury ever could have imagined.
The Wii is much closer to the old Nintendo systems we had as kids than Xbox or PSP or whatever else is out there. Which is what makes it fun for me. I don't have the time, patience, or interest in learning something more complicated - and we could have friends over to play and it would be fun for them too.
