Home, home from the range...

Ugh. I've just gotten home from the NOAA Leadership Seminar at the Airlie House in Warrenton, VA. The conference was pretty good; I staffed the coordinator and thought that logistically speaking, it went better than anyone should reasonably expect a conference to go. People seemed incredibly pleased with the organization and the content of the program, and the environment in general (which was lovely).

I drove the NBC to and from, picking up a co-worker along the way. I finally think that I am starting to get it. I'm still stalling, but now I'm stalling when I forget to hit the clutch when I make a quick stop and not when I am in a stop/go situation. The Beltway was JAMMED this afternoon and I managed not to stall for the entire trip.
The car isn't very fun with the top down in 90 degree weather with heavy traffic, but tons and tons of fun with the top down in 70 degree weather with little to no traffic and an empty highway.

I've got lots of stories - if I remember to tell them all! Right now I am thrilled to be home!
