DH will be home for good in less than 3 weeks (coming home for the last time Oct 28th). We're going to (likely) reschedule our Learn to Sail class for another time (possibly extend it into a vacation in, say, the British Virgin Islands, later next spring). Somehow, in the next two weeks, DH has to cancel his lease, his services, sell my bike, pack and ship all his stuff home.
So that's that. Our crazy Florida adventures have come to an end. Of course, this change opens up a variety of possibilities:
- a weekend trip to New York to see Madame Butterfly (or anything, maybe we'll repeat last year's experience and sublet an apartment for a long weekend)
- visiting our alma mater, Dickinson College, for Homecoming weekend November 4-5
- a weekend jaunt out to Skyline Drive for some leaf-peeping
- a day-trip to Philly, because we miss cheesesteaks
Sadly, all of these things are threatened by cold weather, which I abhor. C'est la vie.

All of these things sounds amazing. Too bad those cities aren't just a little closer . . . you might be able to do all in one day. ;)
