The adventure is semi-over! My new Beetle Convertible is in my driveway (I have to clear out some space to make room for it in the garage!) after 8+ hours of being on the road. It's been a long day, so I'll leave the stories for another post and simply provide pictures:

Very cute. But where are the stickers?
No stickers/magnets/flowers etc until the car is unequivocally mine; title, registration, etc is clear and clean. I'm too afraid of jinxing the whole deal - so the car is staying put in the garage for at least 2 weeks (of course, we're on vacation for most of that time, so it would be there anyway)
