Isn't he sweet. I want to save him!
Now that I have finished "The World is Flat," I am trying to decide whether I want to a) go back to school (shudder), b) build my career focusing on international policy - regardless of the issue - or focus on living marine resource management, and c) quit trying to figure my life out right now and let it go where it's going to go.
To those ends I am reading "The Empty Ocean" by Richard Ellis. I don't actually know if it is going to help, but it seemed like an interesting book. I'm almost 30 - shouldn't I have a better idea of what I want to do with my life yet?
I've been reading up on UDel's Masters in Marine Policy and UWashington's Master of Marine Affairs programs. I'm scaring myself. I really want to take just a few select courses rather than go through all the drama - and I'd like to stay somewhat closer to home.
Someone just smack me now. Think Cher in Moonstruck.

If you're serious about Marine Affairs, don't forget the program at the University of Rhode Island. It was the original and its still going strong! I'm a 2005 grad, currently in the Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship program and working in the Senate. Just started my own blog which hopefully won't die out like many other projects before it...
Good luck.
