Well today I am off to Singer Island, Florida for a much deserved long weekend of sun, sand, and old people. Oddly enough, temps in Florida have been running 5-10 degrees lower than here - go figure. Plus. today is the official beginning of the Atlantic hurricane season, so it will be nice to see Floridians busily buying plywood, water, batteries. and canned goods so that the first 72 hours after a storm hits they are well prepared to care for themselves.
What? That's not how things work? Who knew?
