After spending too many hours on the train re-reading Economist articles, I've finally buckled down and ordered a few of the books from my gargantuan Amazon.com wishlist. I tried to be a little creative... so I've ordered:

At Day's Close: Night in Times Past
I am totally in love with Bernini; when DH and I were in Rome two years ago, it was the focus of my days - looking for Bernini stuff. The Galleria Borghese is the ultimate Bernini destination, some of his absolute best, most beautiful sculptures are there. In particular, the sculptures of Apollo and Daphne and the Rape of Persephone are incredible in their lifelike detail.
Finally, I should be reading something again soon!
