We've got Henry back home! He has had his whole butt area shaved - which is pretty funny - and he's got some gnarly looking stitches in his delicate area, but most important is he's home.
Poor little guy has to wear one of those awful lampshade collars for two weeks until they take his stitches out. He's constantly licking the collar (which looks more like he got his head stuck in a country-quilted doughnut than a lampshade); hopefully he'll get used to it soon.
We've got his room all set up for him - except he doesn't like being secluded in there by himself, so he keeps knocking against the door. I let him sit downstairs with DH for a while watching Stephen Colbert. He seems happy.
Oh yeah - poor thing's got an opiate-based pain patch on his side. So he's probably just as high as he is happy to be home.
