So DH and I drove up to Urbana tonight to visit Henry in the hospital. He seems to be doing much better. The catheter was taken out this morning, and they want to keep him for another 24 hours to ensure that he is peeing without problem and to monitor his hydration and appetite. We brought him some food from home that we know he likes, and he chowed into it right away - well until he decided he wanted more love from us.
The good news is that we'll likely bring him home tomorrow after work. The bad news is that we'll have a healthy vet bill to pay then too.
Oh well.. you gotta do what you gotta do.
