... and this is what I'll be hunting



I've decided that other than snorkeling at least one new beach and learning to SCUBA dive, I am also going to catch some lobster on my vacation. DH and I have pictures from previous trips of lobsters hanging out beneath ledges - and I can't fathom (hee hee, funny pun) why we didn't just grab them and bring them home for dinner.

It's legal, so long as they are not egg-bearing females and within the size and bag limits. So watch out sea bugs! Get in my belly!

you realize, they do have claws...

No claws on Spiny/Caribbean/Florida lobster - only Maine Lobsters have claws (see picture).

That's actually too bad though - I think that the claws of Maine Lobsters have the best meat.

Yuck. I don't think I could cook something I caught. Whenever they cook live stuff on the Food Network I close my eyes!
