I was all excited... I had a pretty substantial project (I thought) to work on today... but then I got it done in about 2.5 hours, and now I am bored again.
Maybe it's me.
I'm trying to stay upbeat about my job. I have several internal irons on the fire trying to get rotations somewhere interesting, but I have also passed the personal deadline I gave myself to start looking again. Luckily, the resume has been updated; now I just need somewhere to send it.
The plus side of all this boredom is that I get to daydream a lot - and then I have time to research how to put my daydreams into action. For example, DH and I have batted about the idea of going to London and Paris for vacation next year. With all this time on my hands, I can start thinking about the things that we might like to do - sites we might like to visit and whatnot. That way we'll have the most thoroughly researched, extensively planned vacation possible. We don't have a set goal for our 2008 vacation yet... and I think we're waiting until 2009 to travel to New Zealand (hey! I need to accrue some damn vacation time). Fortunately I'll apparently have plenty of time to think of somewhere for 2008 in the meantime.
