We finally filed our taxes last night... after sitting on them for a couple of weeks DH and I sat down and double checked the numbers and e-filed away. Of course we only filed our federal taxes... we still have state taxes to work on, but they are never very hard.
Sadly, all our refund is already obligated... vacation, SCUBA lessons, and paying for our new couch. The good news is that now we don't have to touch the savings account for those things - so yeah us!
So now I have three personal countdowns going...
84 days until vacation
11 days until the Amazing Race starts its new season
~7 days until we get our tax refund
Once I settle on dates and an office for my rotation, I'll have to add that to my personal countdown list. It's good to have things to look forward to!
