What a weekend! DH and I visited my grandparents in Delaware Saturday - last weekend we canceled our trip to Jersey because of the threat of snow,which never materialized; this weekend we hit a snow squall on our way to my grandparents. We bought three Powerball tickets - clearly we lost. Sunday we drove up to Jersey, had lunch with DH's grandma and then visited my friends' new baby.
I am not a baby person. I think that all new babies and I have come to an agreement that I don't know anything about them, they don't know anything about me, and things are probably going to stay that way. It's a really precious little baby - and luckily my friends haven't turned into baby maniacs! They're actually quite down to earth about the whole thing. Whoda thought those kinds of parents still exist?
I held the baby once, it screamed, and I passed it off!
Today DH finally used his Christmas gift and bought himself a 30G Video iPod. I'm so happy! I probably won't seem him now for the next 48 hours while he loads it up with music and whatnot, but that's okay.
