So, it should be noted that for an entire day I did virtually nothing of work value. I asked no fewer than three appropriate people (my boss, my cube-neighbor, and the assistant to the director of my office) whether there was anything that I could work on for them since I was "light on work."
Perhaps tomorrow I'll be more direct and say "I'm bored to death - work me before I walk."
Has anyone ever left a government job for not having enough work to do?
