End of Day 9 - Mood: exhausted, stressed

Well, the ceiling has been painted, the oven has been installed, and the island is taking shape (it even has two trash bins in it!) The couple of little things I noticed last night have been fixed (cabinet door not shutting properly), and I think that they are going to be able to do the countertop template on Friday, and they are going to install the floor tomorrow. That ought to be interesting.

Thankfully, I'm on my way to FL for the weekend, to DH's condo, which has a functioning kitchen. I'm so excited about having a kitchen sink again I am beside myself. Tonight I washed the dishes that I had inside of a giant black trash bag in the laundry sink in the basement. It worked out okay - although it was pretty disgusting. Anyway, I even washed the blackberry crisp dish - so that's good.
